Physical Products

Return Eligibility

You may return physical products purchased from Main Kernel within 30 days of delivery, provided the items are:

  • In their original condition
  • Unused and unworn (for apparel items)
  • In the original packaging
  • With all tags and labels attached
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Some items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Digital products or downloads
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
  • Items that have been damaged after delivery

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions.

  6. Ship the package to the address provided in the return instructions.

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (such as sending the wrong item or a defective product).

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days and issued to your original payment method. Please note:

  • Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • If you received free shipping on your original order, the standard shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please follow the return process above and indicate your exchange preference when contacting customer service. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photographs of the damaged items to process your claim. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at our discretion and cover the return shipping costs.

Digital Products and Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products, we generally do not offer refunds for digital purchases, including:

  • E-books
  • Digital art files
  • Online courses or tutorials
  • Digital templates

However, if you experience technical issues with accessing or downloading digital content, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

In exceptional circumstances, we may consider refund requests for digital products on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund for a digital product, please email us with your order number and a detailed explanation of the issue.

Subscription Services

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription to our services at any time by:

Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to the subscription services until the end of your current billing period.

Refund for Subscriptions

We do not generally provide refunds for subscription fees already paid. However:

  • If you are a new subscriber and cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, you may request a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
  • If you experience significant service issues or unavailability, you may be eligible for a partial refund or service credit at our discretion.

Event Tickets and Workshops

Cancellation by Customer

Our policy for event tickets and workshop registrations is as follows:

  • More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a £15 administrative fee
  • 14-30 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Less than 14 days before the event: No refund

Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost, or transfer to a future event (subject to availability) for a £25 transfer fee.

Cancellation by Main Kernel

If we cancel an event or workshop, you will be offered:

  • A full refund
  • The option to transfer to another date (if available)
  • A credit for a future event

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred due to event cancellations.

Commissioned Artwork

For custom-commissioned artwork, our refund policy is as follows:

  • Deposit: The initial deposit (typically 50% of the total price) is non-refundable as it covers the artist's time in beginning the work.
  • During Creation: Once work has begun, cancellations will result in a partial refund based on the stage of completion, minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • After Completion: Once the final artwork has been approved and delivered, no refunds are available unless there are significant issues with the physical artwork not apparent in the approval process.

For commissioned works, we offer up to two rounds of revisions based on the initial concept. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are not eligible for refunds or exchanges, except where required by law. Gift cards:

  • Do not expire
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law
  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen without proof of purchase
  • May be used for multiple purchases until the balance is depleted

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In cases such as:

  • Severe illness or medical emergency
  • Death in the family
  • Natural disasters affecting your ability to return items within the specified timeframe

Please contact our customer service team with appropriate documentation, and we will review your case individually. We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy at our sole discretion.

Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are based in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have certain rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the right to cancel certain types of purchases within 14 days without giving a reason (the "cooling-off period").
